But just posts ago, you write this:
Robben_DuMarsch wrote:I could personally never allow Vaku into one of my villages again.

Robben_DuMarsch wrote:Vaku is a former New Brodgarian that was one of the few we ever had to kick from our ranks.

Come now, be forthcoming. Be true with what you say.
I am one of the few that you removed from New Brodgar—and the other few, which constituted half of New Brodgar this world, were all of us forcibly removed from all platforms of communication, and you know? We found our own way, and I'd say we're happier for it.

The attempted posturing here is great.
This repeated "we" - "we're."

Speak for yourself, Vaku.

You probably shouldn't speak for New Brodgar, its former members, and neither for Goonswarm or the Ironborne, neither of which I see around anywhere. In any case, we split with them - They were not exiled like you. Joining up with people does not suddenly render everyone you associate with an exile of Brodgar :)

It certainly does cast something of a villainous light on our open recruitment, newb friendly village though

There seems to be so much confusion in this thread up to the point where people just decide they're allied to someone without their consent. The wizard alliance is wizards, great houses and amish paradise. Not one other village. Nobody in that alliance is allowed to harm each other, and everyone else is fair game. The fact that the alliance decides to help some villages is a different story.

I'm entirely sure that Great Houses would never consider New Brodgar a possible target, and that we would be welcome on combat ops.

I'm thinking your looking to formalize something the way it isn't Nooby. Feel free to have your leadership contact me if I'm off base, however.

Great houses doesn't consider any noobs possible targets, doesn't make us allied to all of them. None of us will ever attack brodgar but hypothetically if I did none of the important gh people would say anything to me. It's pretty formal, there's even votings and stuff that dictates how our alliances work. There was never once a vote that would make NB allies.

You mean you're the last one left so you are the goonswarm.

This is the alliance proper, NB has no representation in it.
However, we have zero interest in killing people of NB, and we'd like to kill Dis scum when they try to do that, but there's more to an alliance than that.

If the alliance is like NATO, then NB is kind of like Sweden, a non-member that sometimes are included in activities and that NATO has an interest in not seeing conquered by Russia.

I think Vaku had a point when he mentioned that it's hard to come up with a good definition of "faction", this seems to be the case for "alliance" as well.
