Got to be carefull when following someone simply because they are charismatic, that is how you get slaughtered.

You must enjoy talking about something you know nothing about.
Robben doesn*t order people around, or force them to do things, or act crazy when people dont listen to him.
Ive had a ton of terrible leaders, and finding one that has charisma, and isnt a dick is rare.

We have had problems with raiders and some stuff going wrong, but so what? shit happens, we learn from it.

Funny, that is not what it seems from the tale told in the thread. Seems more like an incompetent and autistic leader that can get away with beig a useless dumbass by bullshitting his way out of any situation due to his charisma. ¦]

Early world exploit: Put your hearthfire inside a cave, then hold shift to position a claim right in front of a cave. After 8 hours the claim will be unbreakable. Since your hearthfire is inside the cave, you can still get back inside, and leave, but nobody will be able to enter, effectively making you unraidable for the first 3-7 days. Enjoy

Seriously speaking and on topic though. I do not feel that charismatic is the right word to really describe Robben considering that it has not been too far into this months and already he is facing loyalty problems. Robben may or may not be a good task master (I can't judge since I never been a villager of Brodgar, only listened to hearsays) but his deliverance could really use some work judging from his responses that he made in the last world.

Seeing that W8 Brodgar has not built a brick wall for a while in world 8 while provoking another faction, either he needs to reconsider his position or really learn from the mistakes that he made in the previous world. Let's see what the next chapter holds for Brodgar.

Last world they had no excuse, this world there's really not even a reason to build a brickwall currently :P

It is not that they don't have a brickwall. If a sworm enemy was constantly harrying me when I am trying to build my brick wall or sending a horse to trample over my brick stockpile, that would be understandable.

It is they have every opportunity to make a brick wall before and after they provoked Ainran and after R'lyeah was raided. Great House and LoS had given them opportunity to grow and when Ainran countered back several months afterwards, only overtyped had a brickwall. When you make an enemy out of someone, defense is one of the important task as a leader of a faction.

That being said, I kind of want to hear it from himself why a brick wall was not built.
