With thanks giving comming next week, i would like to introduce a new yearly event on forums called Hearthlings choice award, where the comunity gathers, nominates and vote for the best things around. For now, to make a nomination use the following format

you can put this either in a pm or in a post on this thread, eventually sometimes, hopefully before next thursday, the votes will be up, and then finally on thursday 24, the event will begin, where the votes will be talled, and the winner for each category annouced, and incase its a person, prizes will be given (read: shitty photoshoped badgers). This nomination is mostly for changes introduced mostly in 2016. without further delay, here's the categories
Best developer
the ones who made all this posible vote for your favorite developer out of the many working on this
Best update
maybe one that got rid of an annyoing bug? or one that added a wordenfully new mechanic? choose the update that changed your world
Best looking city/Base/Village
were you hunting out there and you saw a base on the distance and the decoration just got you like... wow and stuff? choose the base that dazzed you
Best curiosity
while the cone cow will always be everyone's favorite, it's time to choose one that have a chance at snapping that spot. Choose the 2nd best curiosity released this year
Best custom client
while there may be controversy on the subject, there's no doubt that there are many clients with many options in this game. choose the client that impressed you the most
Best video
this game open itself to many exicting or even funny gameplay moments, or maybe even a parody, anyway, there's sure to be a video that suit your taste. Choose the video that you would give a like on youtube
Best screenshot
With even a worldly thread dedicated exclusevely for this, there's one image that always strike you as different from the others, unique and sometimes even your favorite. Choose an image that you would repost on reddit
Best item [including buildables, read wheelbarrows, knarcks, ect)
with a weekly update and new introduction, an item worth maybe not be noticed at first, but once used, you know it's true worth, and you just know that without that item the game would be very different and maybe not for the best. Choose an item to put on the wall.
Best faction
maybe the one that gave you a bread when you were about to starve? maybe the one that most advanced their way into the game? the one that you can always relay on? the one that swiftly ends with their enemies? Choose a faction you wouldn't mind be slaved into.
Best player
in all games there are always great players, those that go above and beyond the deeds of others, those that jump to the eyes of people, be it for the way they play the game, their total dominance or because they cool af. Choose a player to give a a pearl to.
Best moderator
always ready to make the forum a safer place, and to keep things in order, the moderators are what keeps the forum running, and now you have the chance to tell that one how much you appriciate not getting banned. Choose a moderator you would not throw into a cliff
Best thread (Heled included)
once in a while, theres comes a thread that generate great discussion, insight and perspective into an specific theme, and it's always a pleasure to have them around. While we wait for some of them to appear, you can nominate the some that come close enough. Choose a thread you would shitpost into.
Best raid
raiding in haven is somewhat rare, due to late how late game it would be, however when it happens, is a sight to behold, here we will see the best. Choose a raid you wish to make a holiday off.
Best Interior design
have you ever wandered into a house you wanted to steal from, but when you enter and the game loads you say "damn... it's better than mine" before going right back to leaving scents all over the place? choose a Decoration that would not make you call the extreme makeover crew.
Best fashionista
When they enter, everyone knows, they not only are ready to win, but look fabouslus while at it. they know how to combine ingame items for a killer look. Choose a fashionista to repost from instagram
Best warrior
when the time is right, they get on their horse, grab their axe/bow/sword and shield and get ready to knock some fools out. Choose a warrior to give your bow
