Not sure if this is some kind of joke or if you just don't understand the quality system.

*Edit* this post is now null and void.

Lemme just buy an animal and raft it across the map for two days straight.

You can just hearth home on a tamed horse. Also, you can lead other animals across the map, takes a few hours even with raft crossings, not much slower than walking/horseriding across.

bro merc robe 40 pts bear cape 30 pts, no where near. Merch cape is much more precious.

and gold nugget equal to 5 ddd/1 wrought iron OMG. This is like those rpg game npc shops that always buy stuff way cheaper than they sell it lol.

Sorry, I've forgot to change prices on bear capes, because we had two 130+ ql bear capes and we sold them today. I lowered ql but forgot to change the price, did it now, thanks.

You'd be surprised. I'm buying Venison at 3 Tin Crowns each, while Black Hive Emporium is buying Gold Nuggets at 5 Iron Crowns each (50 Tin Crowns). Assuming intestines are valueless, that's only 5.5 DDD per gold nugget. It's the 'demand' part of 'supply & demand'. Something doesn't need to be that rare if people want it enough.

This is the case for pretty much any trader. Why trade only to break even, when you can make a profit instead? It wouldn't be worth all the effort if it were only equal-value trades. Do you think real-life stores are selling their goods for the price they bought them at?
