Been there. Was looking for salt, which is quite overpriced on the stands: 2 steel bars per 1 salt.

What price would you offer for salt? (The q10 salt is 30% cheaper, by the way.)

steel takes about 56 hours. Salt respawns after a bit more than 56 hours. If you have a salt map you can get 20+ Salt every respawn without any effort. Thats why salt is too expensive.
Not life, but good life, is to be chiefly valued.

Well, it's hard to say, since I have enough salt for myself. I might have considered it, if 1 piece would cost something like:
3 glimmermoss
3-4 nuggets of steel
for 2-3 pieces salt 1 nugget of gold

and etc.

I have updated my wares and lowered the price of salt.

q10 salt is now 50 August.
q23 salt is now 70 August.
The lower quality iron has been replaced by q31-q33 Blueberry Pie, costing 5 August each.
Feather trinkets have been replaced by q23 Heartwood Leaves, costing 5 August each.
I am no longer buying Cloth; instead I am now buying Blueberries for 1 August each.

Then I'd love to see this legendary 'salt map' that would allow you to get 20+ Salt every 56 hours with no effort. Steel can be made in relatively large quantities at the same time; making 2 bars of steel or 20 costs 56 hours either way. And at the current time, Salt is far more useful than steel.

But perhaps I just value steel less than most people do. Is one q10 salt for
- 25 intestines (was 35)
- 10 cloth (no longer accepting cloth now though)
- 50 blueberries
- 3.3 wax (was 4.6)
- 5 butter (was 7)
really that expensive? Having personally experienced what salt can do, I'm currently a bit on the fence on whether it's really worth selling the salt for the new prices.

Oh, you're actually fairly close. (At least relative to the 3 hour long boat trip I made for trade recently...)

Might visit and patronize your trading post fairly soon. =)

Edit: Dropped by Shiomi Academy and bought some salt. Then I felt hungry so bought a blueberry pie while I was there too. And a piece of metal as a souvenir.

Suggestions: The place looks a bit bare tbh. Maybe expand your offerings - buy some more stuff and sell q20+ copper and random curios? Add a more complete paving?

Cheers~ :P

Did either of these actually happen? I know I would gladly trade my salt for 10 cloth, infact I'll give someone 15 salt for 100 cloth if there's a buyer out there.

Do I see that correctly that you are giving me 3 bars of cast iron for a piece of butter? Or is it nuggets? Sounds like an offer too good to be true, like something where you end up with a 2 years subscription for a magazine you dont read :-) .
