steel takes about 56 hours. Salt respawns after a bit more than 56 hours. If you have a salt map you can get 20+ Salt every respawn without any effort. Thats why salt is too expensive.

Then I'd love to see this legendary 'salt map' that would allow you to get 20+ Salt every 56 hours with no effort. Steel can be made in relatively large quantities at the same time; making 2 bars of steel or 20 costs 56 hours either way. And at the current time, Salt is far more useful than steel.

Do I see that correctly that you are giving me 3 bars of cast iron for a piece of butter? Or is it nuggets? Sounds like an offer too good to be true, like something where you end up with a 2 years subscription for a magazine you dont read .

That is indeed correct, they are bars of iron. Iron is much easier for me to obtain than milk.

As a Hermit, things I'll be looking to buy would be things like (Plate Armor and sword, Good Q pick axe 50+ , rings, thanes preferably, and of course all hermits luv a merchants robe) granted the aforementioned items are likely not in your wheelhouse as yet, but if you are planning on being a trader this may give you a direction to move towards, also think about trading with sub tokens as well, many Hermits can at least procure these a bit easier than steel. I personally spent a good chunk of change on sub tokens last world to trade with LadyGoo for some very needed and highly useful items that made being a hermit and non alt user a whole lot easier.

I have all three in my 'old gear' slot. Nobody bought the q25 pickaxe yet (unless it was sold in the last couple hours), even at only 5 August (5 blueberries, 3 intestines or half a butter), and I haven't received any requests to re-order them. Either newbies have trouble getting to the trading post, or there's just no real demand for them.
