A good set of breeders cost me 4 pearls and 3 Silver bars. In legacy it used to be 1 bear per pearl. I am going to assume its much less now. Then you have delivery costs as well. You will need to travel the bears to the person to pay for them. At most your looking at 3 bears a trip (2 in boat while lifting one) Unless you have a useable charter stone in your village/near you.

I don't need a "good" pair, I need A pair. That means some low quality cows you would otherwise slaughter.

How does recent CS change travel can assist the potential seller to travel to you, even if someone will ever be interesting in such a poor deal?
And, let me guess, those bears are q<100? - you can butcher them and then ctrl+shift+rmb them - noone will ever be interesting. But if you have 2 q200+ bears - just post a screen and you will be overflowed with offers...

taming is difficult even though you know how to do it
Mainly because of laziness of checking if they are ready to be beaten.
