Alignment Chart

Postby Earl_Grey » Fri Mar 30, 2018 8:22 am

Hello everyone! I've been playing the game for some time, and I really enjoy it. From what I understand and hear the main challenges come from your own ambitions that might get you overworked, or players that might get you killed... I understand that there are different kind of people, some of which don't get along with other, like everywhere else, but in a game where you can lose everything I wanted to ask those who've been playing it long enough to know about the politics. How would you affiliate known big villages, both active and inactive, in the standard alignment chart?

It's funny how this question pops up almost exactly a year later, but I was wondering more about the villages rather than individual players.

As linked by LadyGoo, is this really a thread for The Moot? Politics are rarely "good" and "evil," but more the perception of being such to your own supporters or opponents.
Opinions expressed in this statement are the authors alone and in no way reflect on the game development values of the actual developers.

Beh
This system works in dnd because of dungeon master making sure it makes sense, in an online sandbox game you sometimes just have to kill the naked man sitting on your lawn.
Don't think it fits the narrative of haven. Everyone should be subjective to combat and what it comes down to is manners or lack of em.
Suggest a reason/way to implement it maybe, I don't see any.

Good and Evil are not realistic concepts, nor are they concepts that have any relevance to or use in the Hearthlands.
