That it will not; the performance problems are due to I/O latency, the cause of which I haven't managed to pin down, but I suspect it has to do with XFS force-flushing its log sometimes when doing metadata operations (and XFS seems to exhibit extraordinarily bad performance with synchronous I/O in general). I have started formulating a scheme to isolate the game server from such problems, however. With some hope, I'll have time to implemented once we've gotten the Salem alpha rolling.

You removed a feature without solving anything...

Also, can we please be able to pave at the shorelines now, seeing that vaults won't be fixed in this unforeseen reset? It's silly not to, considering vaults are so easy to make.

Also, maybe it's possible to allow cliff terraforming?

:D new worlds are fun to start over with... :) i know i dont have to worry about 3 random A$$ guys boating by and killing me :'( just a noble farmer.. lol.. :D

You removed a useful mechanic in the game (charterstones) without fixing a broken one (vaults).
