Since I couldn't run the client while doing it, they are more or less (but not completely) untested, and they might have far-reaching consequences, so I just thought I'd put an advance warning for crashes in the immediate future.

I don't think it should be anything major, but you might want to delay the building of your new fortress a few hours.

You try telling 200 people to wait a few hours.

Anything to do with your update?

Yeah, I'm a bit curious here too. First time I've seen the error (Connection refused: connect while trying to authenticate). Does this has something to do with the deluge of 200 new people hitting the server's playercap or something?

I was on just a moment ago, it looks like the server's down now.
You see a masterful engraving by Blaze. On it is Blaze, bears, boars, and foxes. Blaze is striking down the bears. The boars are screaming. The foxes are in a fetal position. The image relates to the return of Blaze in the late winter of 2009.

Authentication server took a bit of a nose dive. Code gnome bolted some bolts and screwed some screws, and the galactic energies have been restored.

Isn't it kind of risky mixing software proficiency with hardware proficiency? Isn't that kind of like crossing the streams? I hope you don't unleash a giant marsh mellow man on us...

There seems to be an issue with item lag, are you still running a diagnostic or some other resource-hungry program on the server?

The wall-ridge problem doesn't seem to have been fixed yet.

Oh? Where did you get this "software" from? Maybe it isn't obvious, but the server is actually a gigantic mechanical contraption in Jorb's apartment.
