What happens when you dig near a person's farm?

Farming soft cap is slightly annoying but actually makes sense. As long as it's not that hard of a softcap it should still be manageable.

The farming softcap is something I thought of in early W3, never did I post it. Glad to see it got in!

I hope the mining system is what I imagined!

Farming soil is realistic and its a good change but you should be able to dig up soil and place it other places so you don't have to farm only at those soil spots. Should be good for 1 crop only
Certainly, in taking revenge, a man is but even with his enemy; but in passing it over, he is superior; for it is a prince’s part to pardon. - A wise friend.

The farming thing actually hits me harder than the rest, but then again I don't know the mining difference.

Either way can't wait 'til it's up.

I am so psyched for this :D *itches to play* LOOK, AWESOME POETRY:

Through code and programming, grass grows,
flowers flourish, and trees stretch to new heights.
Animals poke their heads from their holes,
to survey the ruins of an old world laid as the foundation and stepping stone for that of the new
And man, once the pinnacle of creation,
now forced to start again,
will once more attempt to make his way in the world

Will higher q soil be more abundant? Because otherwise it will be a bit harder to get even low quality crops without it.
When in doubt, let the rocks fly.

I hope there will be many q500 nodes, compost piles to raise soil q, or fertilizer. I just hope farming skill isn't worthless! :o

All that really means is that farms will need to be larger for increased FEPage.

Are the rumors correct that after you get in what you originally fully intended for World 3 you'll move it to World 5? Aka this will be a relatively short world?
