Oh yes, I should mention this, because it might not actually be obvious; the boat can take a passenger as well.

Wth? I was walking by a river and some guy comes over and starts taking potshots at me.

What'll happen with scents generated on water?
You see a masterful engraving by Blaze. On it is Blaze, bears, boars, and foxes. Blaze is striking down the bears. The boars are screaming. The foxes are in a fetal position. The image relates to the return of Blaze in the late winter of 2009.

anyone else tried to quick travel while in a boat? We just did it and it froze. Could be a coincidence.

Probably a coincidence, unless you picked a different option. Hearth fire results in "Cannot travel now"
