On the positive side, this will hopefully help fix some of the horrible lag we've been having. I have little hopes of it abolishing 'all' lag, but lag spikes lasting 2:30 suck ass.

Thanks Loftar. Great appreciation for all the work.

Is it possible that these HDD crashes somehow can be connected to the lag? Filesystem bugs and HDD crashes seems to be very closely related.

If so maybe wouldn't hurt to much to have a look and give it a try to fix it all. :)

Thx vm Loftar for all your work to keep the server running in an acceptable way and also for keeping us knowing what is happening. :D
It is the first time in all my gaming years where the owner does care to keep players informed of whatever is happening and I do apreciate it.

I would love the regular lag to go away, I would enjoy so much more this beautiful game, but I still preffer to play with the regular lag instead of the server being shut up.
I am not speaking of playing with this awfull lag of the past 2 days that really beat me up, it almost feels like a very bad joke so many Hard drive changes needed. :(

eh, i guess we'll see just how much lag this fixes. if it does nothing, then you may as well have just saved the money and waited until some work could be done and not fixing it.

dont get me wrong, im glad your at least somewhat dedicated to this dying husk of a game but at some point it just gets futile to even try
i really need to find a good signature

Some of us still love you loftar. We wait patiently for you to have enough time off Salem to return to H&H and solve our problems, meanwhile we will continue to play through 90% lag because we are the real Hearthlings.
