I've written a potential fix which is in the running server right now. There aren't more than ~100 users logged in right now, so it wouldn't lag normally anyway, but we'll see if it works later.

How does it feel to have a player base that can fluctuate?
EDIT: And by that I mean, noticably from things like different time zones going to bed or eating.

A playerbase that can fluctuate is any playerbase that is small, a larger one won't see a change.
So how can it fluctuate anymore now than before?

It's just more noticable. Probably because all of the russians log off at once.

Well, it seems like Bitardsk and Stalingrad have fallen. Every single unit will now follow the direct commands from Omsk.

Eternal memory for those, who have been killed at that massacre.

The lag seems much more consistent now. Like before it was very erratic, one moment it would be non existent and the next it took about 10 seconds to respond.
But this could actually just be my internet :)
