No. The accompanying change to wall soak values is there to make the walls impossible to destroy. Also, dragons eat battering rams, and their Q is directly determined by the battering ram's. Ya, rly! ;)

so is it still possible at all to break a wall solo? or does it absolutely require a battering ram and at minimum 2 people?

It's probably easier for you to do as assessment of how easy it would be to solo-break a wall if you do the math yourself. ;)

Just in case you had any doubts, there is no strict requirements on a battering ram or the number of people operating it. The soak value is the only limitation.
