In regards to wound treatment/management, why dont you have a glance over to Dwarf Fortress? It has a quite brilliant "damage" system, and while I encourage having a health bar, injuries from minor scratches to flesh wounds or broken bones could be interesting. I always wondered why those bear attacks make no more severe problems than waiting some time to regain consciuosnes.

Oh yea, by the way flesh wounds: lots of tribes used ants to treat open wounds; the saliva stopped the bleeding, and the ant claws (?) were used to close the wound. Simply let the ant bite and rip off its body - voila, you tacked the wound. The ants are already ingame ^^

I agree on most recent changes and things stated above.
But I dont really get wyrd. I like LP as it is now, its simple to understand, there's not really a way to cheat: Its just working hard(/grinding to some extent).

If wyrd was to be released and as Jorb talks about it more and more often and has art drawn already (cool art btw ^^) it must be balanced. I can see a few 'powers' get very overpowered and thus ruin the whole game.

Obviously, this way, an animal ken system could be developed. Where you can increase the ease of managing animals by actually doing it (not *IT* that is), perhaps even by getting to know them. Make them learn little skills like plowing, riding and whatnot. Perhaps even wyrd stuff. Little commands.
