I'm not arguing for or against a reset at all actually. I just think that the constant defense of "You can't complain about it because it's only an alpha and you don't pay for it!!" and now your even worse "Nobody's opinion actually matters!" is a dumb defense tactic because then why have forums at all? Why discuss anything if apparently nothing anyone says matters at all?

viewforum.php?f=6
viewforum.php?f=7
viewforum.php?f=2
viewforum.php?f=12
viewforum.php?f=13
viewforum.php?f=16
viewforum.php?f=4
viewforum.php?f=5

Those are why we have forums. So that people can engage other people in communication that is meaningful past 'BAAAWWW TEH BIG MEENIES R MEEN HURP DURP' or 'BAAAWWW I WAN A MIEN BUT I DUN WAN 2 WERK FOAR IT'. Any other stupid questions?

Again somebody is forgeting that you need to own something to be such successfull. And ofc have a bunch of trustworthy ppl around u to help u. I'm 100% sure that A.D. didn't start from 0. But there were probably a lot of ppl that already had some weapons, tools and stuff, even some ppl who owned mine joined.
So you want to say that if now we put in world 10-20 newbs that they can make village stronger or at least even strong as your or A.D.? They won't even find own mine and probably not even good clay, water and soil spot. Most of spots are already taken. Ok even if they find one spot, they still need other stuff to success. The fastest way to success now in game is to have a good stuff to sell: gold, silver, iron, jewelry,... If u have none of this u r 0. U can read this many times big fucking 0, zero, nada, нулю, nič, ling, nolla, null, אפס, rei, cero, sifir, nula... Got that? In current world only chance to get such mine is to find a cave mine very close to entrance on edge of the world but that would at least take 1-2 months. Before those newebs manage to build up enough agi to travel to center to trade that stuff there would be at least 1 more month and 1 month for building all buildings, fields,... So at least 4 months to even be on same boat as big ones are, not as strong as they are. Then you need at least 2 motnhs to raise your quality of crops, food, wood,...
So don't tell me that A.D. was bunch of total newbs if u need at least 4-6 months to make decent village with at least 100+q food. Even if they play 24/7 plants just don't grow so fast. When A.D. formed they already had most of that stuff so that is why they have grownso fast. And what makes them even stronger? Mnopol over silver and gold in their region. I bet u will hardly find a village or player that still owns silver or gold mine to sell stuff and had nothing to do with A.D.

So plz don't bullshit that u can do anything after few months when world starts. You cannot if u already don't have something to build on. Going from zero when basicaly all resources are already taken and when you need to grind 2 hours to get a simple chest of fucking cast iron q10 in not a way to do it. Trust me. Been there done that.

Not 100% true. me and a lost friend of mine joined late into World 2 and we found a mine by day 3.

Of course it was a shitty mine, but eh... a mine is a mine

There is the reason to reset world: to shuffle cards and resources between players. I'm 100% sure that there were a lot of new players that are as good as those from big villages but they can't do shit coz they don't have ranger bow, 100 gold and silver bars at home... Problem with current world is that not all resources are available to everyone. Simple as that. No matter what the fuck you do u won't get them on ur own.

So their opinions actually do matter, as long as their opinion also coincides with your predefined conceptions of what's important to talk about and what's not? Okay that makes perfect sense now. Thanks.

I'd be happy to give effort if this "game" was going anywhere and there were more than a few groups of serious players to compete with. Every world there's been mostly the same serious players among casuals and new subs. You may think you've accomplished something, which I must admit I'm in no position to tell you you aren't having fun, but it's not much when you scare off all the new players and show off how much you've grinded your way up when only a few hundred people are listening. I love the concept of H&H, but when there's nothing to control runaway characters, it really turns off new players and brings no life to the game.

Yeah me and mine friend also found a tin mountain mine. It was claim but deserted. We used it but after that we came to problem: we need copper. Only copper around was in caves and those spots were far far in cave in unreachable places. The first village to trade us copper was 2 SG away and even they had only q30. So what the fuck is the point of having mine like that?

Actually that's not a reason to reset the world at all. The only reason to ever reset the world is to implement game altering development changes. A reset is intended to help the developers fine tune the game, not to help newbies, make the game easier, or balance the resources.

And it's not only mine, but also water, clay and soil. Find all those stuff somehow close together... GL with that.
