A Plea for Moderation

This is becoming more and more of a problem for whatever reason: the language of some users is becoming increasing indecipherable. In most of your posts it's possible to draw intent and some meaning through context, but the rule seems to be becoming to err on the side of less readability rather than more. I apologize for singling anyone out on this, but I have, and an example would be here: viewtopic.php?f=15&t=33574#p443760 ; I honestly can't really tell what's being said in that post.

Considering the mountain of reports and complaints against this as well, I'm going to ask that you guys at least make an attempt towards legibility.

I think it's easy to tell what he wrote actually. He's telling us about the effects of climate change, and even if it's hard to read, at least he's trying to save the planet. That's why I don't think you should of banned him for that.

I personally have no problem with childhoodobesity posting because its his style. His posts are perfectly readable, maybe retarded, but still readable and written in engrish.

I think using the term "lel" should be a bannable offense. Just saying.

I had reported that stupid thread before it even had a single reply in it yesterday and it got to 3 pages before anyone even locked it or whatever. I know at least borka had been on the forum too because he posted right after I did it so why did it take so long to even get rid of it at all?

I really don't see why that thread was locked, if anything painhurts should be unbanned just so that he can spam shit and flame in that thread for the rest of our entertainment, though I do agree that the OP should be given a warning/ban for posting in a non english language.

Illegibility for me has never been a problem with Childhood, although it is worrying what affect he has had on the haven community, with most of AD now talking like him ingame and some on skype.

I don't think Childhood is really a problem on his own, but since he has taken in Christmas and given him elocution lessons their ranks have increased twofold.

I'm not "banned" per se, I retired the name and had it perma-banned to remove the urge to use it. As for Troll's asshole thread I was happily playing Eve Online and missed the whole thing. Karma is a motherfucker.

Sorry, new job for me and I've been picking up a lot of overtime so I can't get to reports as quickly as before. When things calm down I'll be able to moderate more swiftly. Also, not every mod wants to tackle every report, especially when there's a history to it that they're not familiar with.

Pain is on a self-requested ban. His main account can be unbanned whenever he wants but for now he not-so-secretly wants to be on a different name.

I missed that part. What is there to defend? Troll/Childhoodobesity killed me because he can't read English then instead of apologizing as a true ally would do he decided to make a thread mocking me, JordanColes (Who's sharing of a private skype conversation led to me being killed) much like Troll has no honor and jumped aboard to prove what a lowlife faggot he is. Thankfully I've to a large extent distanced myself from this game and am enjoying Eve Online where I avoid the forums and don;t have to deal with sub-Human shitstains like these.
