Will there still be "personal beliefs"?

I don't have a problem with customizing your character, but they cause more trouble than what they're worth in my opinion, at least in their current iteration. Especially as a hermit since nature/industry simply pressures you to make alts.

Don't expect them to be there in any form even remotely resembling their current one. :)

So if I'm understanding correctly, my friends and I wont be able to do anything together for first few days until a map is released and then we have to each gain lp to boatbuilding then construct a boat and sail for hours till we find each other. I don't have an issue with it if the map is released fairly quickly but it seems like a hard sell for clueless, impatient nubs who don't know what they're doing.

Then, as someone who usually resides in smaller villages, I can no longer rely on trade with big villages? Or at least I would have to sail potentially hours to their front door with every bear corpse or pearls I find. Trading with no vidols would probably rely a lot on CR networks which would require everyone to make high agility trade alts which is a pain.

So no CRs.

To be honest it sounds like most people have already made up their minds about Hafen one way or another without ever trying it out, so it'll be interested to see what that polarization does to early feedback.

Far too many to list individually.

Will you be doing a list of new/changed features on release as you have with previous worlds, or will it be completely unexplained?

I guess we might end up outlining the big changes, but it's not like we have such specific plans as to detail the contents of a "new world"-post. :)

It'd be nice to have a general idea of what we're walking into, not to mention extra fuel for they Hype Train, which has no brakes. Personally, I'm looking forward to the surprises.

I don't mind a list for major changes but the details should be left for fun exploration. :)
