I really hope this doesn't mean we'll have to travel to other villages on foot if we want to trade. While it is more realistic, it is not fun. The central "safe hub" in Salem was a nice feature, I think.

The safe hub in Salem was just there to facilitate players spending silver bought with real money. I'm almost completely sure there won't be a safe hub in Haven, or even a hub at all unless the players build one, like Constantinople in world 3.

Foot or by road. Teleportation along formal roads, so establishing connections between villages will be vital for trade, otherwise keep trade partners local.

Could people please stop fucking mentioning Salem? This isn't Salem. Fuck Salem. That being said, Jorb/Loftar There's only like a week left, can you guys outline the major changes before release day so we have at least some kind of idea what the hell we are doing or will it be mechanically close enough to the old version that those of us with plenty of experience will be able to just get going like we would any other new world?

Still waiting for answer about lp system. Is there a hope for major changes or just minor improvements? Are you considering mixing old lp system with current one or farming lp on bears/crops goes away into oblivion?
