I think the statue should be Father Time considering how long World 7 has creakily spun..... I honestly can;t think of anything noteworthy enough having happened otherwise to mark it with a statue. Rise of the Russians maybe? I was away from the game and forums for quite a bit but from what I remember with the exception of Ainran there "were" no big Western factions where before there were many and by month...what 4? 5? There was nothing but AD and Dis battling it out and everyone else just off doing their own thing. I'd like to see a resurgence of some of the old western teams again. Odditown, Ainran, shit, it's been so long I've forgotten most of them. hell, even the koreans seemed to have dissapeared.

Consider the devs like mad scientists : there challenge is to create a machine fueled by human chaotic energy that reach a goal all by itself.
If you add human control, its just a game played by the devs/controlers with the help of players.
Its just like life, there is more satisfaction and challenge to create a world only composed of rules who works by itself ( thats called life, order emerging from chaos ) than a world manipulate by a God (thats called an inert tool, preexisting order manipulating chaos).

Devs have always made clear that they dont create a game for the players to have fun, they only see players as brownian energy that fuel there experimental social "machine".

I wrote about anti-botting system of old tibia as an example hoping that someone played tibia like maybe 6-8 years ago and that someone is going to understand what I mean. You clearly don't. Nowdays none of the "ingame moderators" is using such system and to be honest IMO tibia would be dead without bots, and gamemasters are fine with botting. But if you really want to see the success of Tibia's anti-botting measures, download Tibia and download the bot, look how developed it is, for example, when gamemaster tp to you and ask a question, bot will answer, send you a message on your phone what happend and eventually do what you programmed in options.

lol

So the great argument for these measures is: "Hey, look at Tibia! After years of fighting and enforcing rules against them, the bots there are now so advanced and developed, that they can no longer be caught at all, and everyone has just given up on it!"

You cannot be serious.

Holy, I didn't even read that paragraph until you quoted it. I don't even understand what point this guy is trying to make anymore.
