Devs have always made clear that they dont create a game for the players to have fun, they only see players as brownian energy that fuel there experimental social "machine".

I'd imagine they'd be significantly changed if they aren't removed entirely. I remember jorbtar saying multiple times how they weren't happy with how they functioned in Haven.
