Well, preferably one that you may have floating around, or perhaps one of the other developers could oblige. :P But ya' know, it is understandable if that step cannot or will not be reached, I understand the security you would like for the game and it's contents, but there must be some sort of way to bypass this problem with a use of another machine.

Jabbawack - you realize that this game is hosted on a server probably hundreds of miles away (i presume) from Loftar. Also, ppl are pissing me off with the attitude of "i wanna play, i wanna play" when he has spent 5-6 hours working to improve the reliability of the game. If you wanna help him find another machine please select the "another machine" link below.

Thanks for all the time today btw loftar, between fixing that server crashing bug and this update (though i don't understand what it does :) ), it's appreciated :)

So there, running again, on Linux 3.2. Let's hope that does away with the problem.

Jesus, I logged in to terrible, terrible lag and the message popped up saying to check announcements. I thought it would be some BS, but I was pleasantly surprised to find loftar slaving away to satiate our sorry asses. Keep up the good work, and I'm super excited for Salem. Looks great so far, wish I had got into the beta.

And lmao at the people asking for a world reset. Yeah, think it would be nice, then I could be caught up to my friend, but I know better than to ask for one, especially after THE ruthless mod explicitly tells you not to. Come on, guys.

Edit: Yeeeeah lets see if this works

Well, it seems to be working far better than the stock 6.0 kernel, though (which, by the way, is 2.6.32). That's not to say that it's good, of course, but it doesn't seem to be worse than before the update now.

consider this your warning.

But all in good time i guess :)

Thanks for the update!

reading. it's fundamental.

Yes it really is, that guy wasn't requesting the world to be reset, just said it would be nice and all in good time as a response to what everyone else in this thread was talking about.

Everything would have to be on fire and lagging for this to be possible.
