The idea is as ridiculous as it sounds, but it might just be entertaining. And it would get rid of all the nolifers that grinded for 6 days straight since the opening of the world since they'll be burned out on having to do it again.

You may try reading to OP. ;)

New file format, additional lag fixes. What does the new file format mean? What can you do with that past saying "It's a new file format."? Is it more optimized, can it be used to do more things? I read the OP. I just don't see what it can do - Not because I think it's useless, because I see it as necessary - But because I have no idea what it implies.

Loftar, how much space does the world take? And the character data?

Would be interesting to hear details on how you (in)efficiently store stuff.

Well, the reason I changed the format is because I made the basic structure of the account database much more general than it was at first; but, while that does imply that I can do a number of things in a much nicer way, the main reason I want the Haven server also running the new format is simply to keep my codebase less fragmented. In order to keep developing on multiple projects, I want to harmonize parts between the Haven and Salem codebases that have diverged during the development of Salem, and a lot of those things depend, directly or indirectly, on the account server.

The world takes around 6 GB, and the combined account and character data around 3.5 GB.
