i really dont get where youre coming from with this.

How else do you think the Q of coins is determined? High Q bars make high Q coins. Low Q bars make low Q coins.

So if you have high Q coins they came from a high Q bar, and should obviously be able to be converted back into such.

this is getting more and more funny ever post. you think i didnt know that? what you guys havent understood is what im saying you dolts. COINS SHOULDNT DISPLAY THEIR QUALITY SO AS TO DISCOURAGE PEOPLE FROM BEING FUSSY ABOUT COIN QL. they still have a QL but we just cant see it. when you convert it back it will take an average of the lot and then display it because it will be a bar.

Uh the reason people are fussy about the quality is so they can get good bars back and not just chest bars?
What I'm trying to say is you're really stupid.

what im saying is youre fucking fussy.

you shouldnt be able to receive good quality coins and then melt them down for some good quality bars. thats just a dumb game mechanic.

No, we don't think you know that. Because you never gave any hint that you did. What delamore is saying, and I'm arguing, is that there is no reason to remove Q from coins. If you don't care about Q, you can still do that if they display Q. But why would you remove the Q display in case someone does care?

because it would be super gay to have 10 quality 20 coins that are less valuable than the same amount of coins that are quality 40. it just becomes quality over quantity. surely with money it should be about how much you have not how many crisp brand new ten pound notes you have.

Actually, that seems very historically accurate. Every mint's coin was worth a different value, because they all had different content of whatever metal they used.

Your shiny pounds are worth more than shitty new zealand dollars... Why should brodgar's crappy copper be worth more than waynesville's pimp 100q copper coins?

Well we wouldn't want to be super gay.

You want coins to be currency. They aren't. They never will be. Currency needs something to back it up. In this case the thing backing up the coin is the metal in the coin. So what they accomplish is allowing you to trade small fractions of a bar. It would be silly to set up a currency and purposely take away the backing for it. Sure you could turn them into chest metal, but that's a really crappy backing.
