levels tend towards grind and trivial/impossible combat rather than anything actually interesting

just say no

animals should differ by behavior and not something abstract like levels

Just because you remove 'levels' doesn't change anything. The only difference is that instead of your lv 10 fox looking like a lv 5 fox, your lv 5 fox will remain a fox and your lv 10 fox will become a bear. Maybe it's old fashioned or something but when i'm playing rpg's I tend to be more interested in the mechanics than the trappings. Changing sprites isn't creating anything new, which is what most people are suggesting when they say "do away with animal levels"

I play this game three day for week, usually. I've started two month ago or before. I'm not an advanced player, i'm barely an hunter that can fight a beast lvl 3. This because this game is..relaxing.
I was ok whit the idea that the iron is really a strong tecnology and then, noob player need really a lot of time to hope to find something, or be able to. Is ok. We are talking of Iron, yeah!!

But..the milk. I mean...is just milk! You go on a cow, oh, are so kind the cow Then you take your milk, happy. Now the cow are like the Boss of an evil game where the whole cattles will attak you! My gosh! What happened? The invasion of the mutant cow!?

Eheh, just kidding. What i mean is simply that the milk, low quality, in some way should be free also for the noobs, that actually must travel around the world hoping to find some cattle or sheeps or chicken.

Why don't create random cattles pacific? I don't mean that the cattle follow you, no, but they allow you to take some milk. Not all the cow are bloody killer.

I thing that deny competly milk to not-super-power-player, is nonsense. Too much hard, then, play a simple factory for a noob that is learning how become a power player.

Is possible create a system that make born also cattle not ungry? Few. Rare. Ok. The noob will travel and travel hoping, and the milk that he could found will be like gold! But don't deny the possibility completly, making HeavyMetal Cow for a buclke of milk.

(I hope i wrote this in a language that should exist..XDD)

A lot of the folks who respond the way we do have been wanting a wipe for months now. Just, you know, fyi.

Uh, foxes, boars, and bears have different attacks and different ways to fuck you over.

Here's to hoping combat gets fixed and the game becomes more challenging =D

Does cows have to physically access the trough in order to eat? Or can they "tele-eat" from a trough if they are within its radius.

Code: Select all
XXXXXXX
X     X
X     X
X  C  X  T
X     X
XXXXXXX

Can this Cow eat from that Trough through the FenXe?
