Oh, and you really really should've included some kind of authority objects that has a huge area, very low drain and no crime protection, so we can expand the village claim over important points in our local area. I understand that we're not supposed to have everything, but being unable to claim a mine and a clay spot 3 area maps away is just too god damn frustrating. I guess I'll just make alts in remote villages, feed them with emmentaler and put them on a macro 24/7. This'll be the first time I macro in my 10 months of playing, I hope you're happy.

i agree, satellite villages are terrible now.

adding potjehs "connector" objects for claiming large but unprotected swaths of land might be a nice solution. could have them appear as cairns. the first real step towards kingdoms.

We wanted the ability to be part of more than one village so we wouldn't need to use alts and we got this shit where we actually have to macro those alts... Like every other thing we request it gets perverted to some hideous unrecognizable self (see the village decay that would just check if anyone logged in x days to the drain crap)

I've never cheated or anything in a game, never had to. As silly as it may sound to all the cheaters here I don't even know HOW to macro. Now I have to google or figure out how to cheat? Was told about an autoclicker macro as being what most are talking about/using? SO now I have to go get one and figure out how to use it...wow. Never seen a fucking game encourage so much cheating and griefing. The claim is that "Loftar" doesn't want solo or small-group villages in the game...WTF..why the fuck do you care whether a few friends have a village together in an MMO. No one is suppose to play unless they are slaves to one your groupie friends and their mega-villages to slave linen for them? Most rdiculous shit I've ever seen. SO now the "Lag" can get better with everyone having to macro all the time to keep their villages from dissapearing...LOL My god...someone please clone this game in a reasonable way!!! Step up those letters to indy game companies folks someone somehere has got to see the potential here for a game that isn't geared towards 25 dev groupies.

You know, it might actually be better now to change our village over to one big fat ass personal claim. If we add the authority figures we'd need to to cover the plan for our group of casuals who like to have large plots and only login every couple of days, we would be well and truly screwed. Where-as claiming half the super-grid with a personal claim is quite easy.

My personal thought is it should be two months for a completely abandoned village to fully decay. Under this system, big villages will simply decay instantly if their members go on holiday over Christmas.

How useful are villages supposed to be here?

I do see the trend, I'm just hoping that like hunger and key-rings, it will be another 12 months before they get to the stage of implementing it and by then, Village claims might be fixed... or we'll have a working macro grinding an alt all day or something.

wow just wow.

I understand the principal of the fact that dead citys should decay with time, but this is just killing the free spirit tbh.
Having different professions will be impossible. Fact is for example, a miner how much lp do you get for mining and melting ore?
i mean its kind of a slave work since you are unable to gain any significant lp at all in that profession but is still needed by most
villages with a mine.

Sorting, fixing, fetching, organizing, mapping, exploring, mining, taming, PVP, etc will be a thing of the past, grind grind grind LP
would be all that matters even if it means killing hundreds of animals you dont even need, or making hundreds of flour and bread dough
that will be thrown away.

I like a game where im free to do what enjoy doing, i do not like to be dictated by the game engine itself what to do. who determines
whats valubale work and not? as it is now only a few things give a lot of lp but still a thousands of things is needed to be done in a
village that dont give lp at all. beeing online and active should be enough, fuck grinding dictation, wtf where you thinking with this?

Make the village decay depend on something else then LP, as i said, just beeing online and active LP or no LP should be enough.
