Sure but you can still estimate when he will use the thunder and then stop moving. When you do this, your oak stance will work, then move again.

If exploiting a bug or glitching the system/server is the way to counter something, we have a problem.

How is "stopping running when he will use thunder to make use of oak stance" a bug?

Some dude sprints at you and uppercuts you right in the ballsack causing you to take the normal damage that a punch would, but have a modifier for using the sprint action. say, x1.2 damage if you're at max run speed, so punchx1.2. There's a plot twist here though, right before the sprinter uppercuts your ballsack, you drop to the floor and uppercut his ballsack. The person who is NOT moving would gain 1.4x damage against someone who is sprinting at them, so punchx1.4.
This way nobody can 1 hit KO people, unless they are really strong enough.. The modifiers may be to high, bear in mind, they're just examples.

All I see here is "uppercut" and "ballsack"
Didn't know chin-balls were a thing

I think not being able to drink water in combat would be a step in the right direction, there are already moves that use up stamina, so it kinda fits.

Is that an insult?
What if archers want to be in the battlefield like they did?
They were, in fact, the most important group in the battle, damaging the enemy's horses severely.

Realism for the sake of balance. Not seeing your problem.

the realism doesn't matter, balance matters, give archers AP arrows, no need to talk some bullshit about horses

I would advise jorbtar to do exactly the opposite or none of anything NOOBY93 suggests.
