I didn't say I built the claim. But I consider it mine, since it's protecting my stuff and I have full access to it. Nor did I sew my gear myself.

I only died once, BTW, and I didn't intend it. Damn aurochsen, can't even give me a bit of hair :(

Atleast to me.

This is a valid concern. One obvious, and constantly pointed out issue, is that there are no immediate returns so you don't get immediate gratification to push you forward. It's not as exciting to get 2k lp 3 hours from now as it is to get 2k lp from a big kill. You don't get the rush and the delay does put off some of the fun then. What do you find draining the fun for you?

instant gratification is something we all subconsciously want.

I do however believe that a 2k LP after a 2 hour wait gives me the same gratification as a 2k lp from a big kill, that's not the concern.

FEP's and quality progression aside, it's all about AFK'ing your curios for LP, the thought of this just bores me out.

I must say that I'm having lots of fun with the new system. But still I can't help missing LP points at least for hunting. That would totally make sense

It's quite amazing how simply stating that I'm not enjoying this version as much as the previous one yields a ton of people that explain me how I should have fun and be successful.

I'm simply fed up with raiding ant-hills for LPs, foraging more than I need for a chance to get a curio (never got one) and simply having trouble to get even the most basic skills. Basically, I am forced to take care of my LP progression. Last version, I was toying around, building my first log cabin, paving a bit around, etc. Those simple actions (and basically, everything I was trying out) fueled me enough to try new things. I also didn't care so much about the whole hurr-must-eat-int thing, btw.

I think this game version is much more directive than the previous one, provided you weren't one of those bucket-grinders.

I'm starting to believe this World is an early April joke, however it's not funny.

Either way, i feel that it deserves more time to be tested thoroughly, but people giving constructive critique being shot down by fanbois is NOT okay.

Just my probably useless 2 cents.

Same happened to me. I got cocky and figured I could handle an inland herd. Guess who got run down? :D

You can't make a statement this early in the new world IMO, as you progress further, get a farm running, mines lots of new curio's will get open to your hands, which will give loads of LP. ( At least I think so )
