The standard client has no feature to change resolution. You will have to deal with it until someone updates Gilbertus or Pachos client.

Koya wrote:Bad idea. Where now spend gold and other stuff ? What use of symbel now ? Why we need silk now anyway ? 90% silk produced in AD goes to tables. 80% of gold and silver goes to tables. Do you think everybody will be putting gold to pave roads? Thats stupid.

Symbel is still better than just eating. It just got a very necessary nerf. You will get used to it and still invest your gold, silver and silk into it, because even a 70% FEP bonus is a bonus worth it. The stat raise with old symbels was completely ridiculous, maybe you can't see that because you lose something with the change, but that is what it was. Cities like ours had no problems building palisade or brickbreaker with those tables, the soak of walls is meant to not let a single person break them though.

Koya wrote:Yes, big city still will be raising army, increasing production of cheese, but for smaller villages it means no fighters, because 3-4 people cannot overrun in production 50 people. So people like Klaue and Nao now have chance to take over them all.

I fail to see how this is the case. Small groups are still at a disadvantage to big towns and newer characters are hit harder by this than old ones. So people like Klaue and Nao will never be able to break brickwall on their own or pulling 800 perception out of their ass now. That means towns are even safer than before, not the other way around. You are twisting reality here, because it is in your own interest (and the interest of those 68 players). As a member of Sodom I loved my table too, just letting me push stats to 4 figures without much effort, this is not how it is meant to be though.

Koya wrote:Also death now is endgame. Because it will be impossible to restore after death to same level.

That is just a fact high lvl chars have to deal with now. New players have been put at a serious disadvantage with the nerf of tables (and I can't strees that enough, new chars will never be able to catch up wit you or me now!!) so it is only fair that good chars have more to loose as well.

Also I like golden roads or a yellow brick road. This might not have been a necessary update, but people love to decorate and show off their wealth, so it sure is a nice one. I don't get how one could possibly complain about the option to build more stuff.

is it really that impossible for developers to add features from Pacho's/Gilbertus to standart client?
I hate you! Yes, you!
How does it matter when you die? Today? In hundred years? What will be left of you after millenia?

We will watch hords of archers with mm 320+, I suppose.
Well, what is the point to make mili comaters weaker, whereas raingers are still too strong? 2 arrows are enough to kill me, for instance.

Great update. Can`t wait to check out new types of tiles. Removal of tidiness bonus is neutral , I think, as it does not make anyone stronger or weaker - heck, let`s face it - newbs weren`t going to reach pro players level anyway. Not sure about new combat, though - guess it should be checked out in-game.
BTW, mr. loftar, is there any way to update our custom clients?
