Having different professions will be impossible. Fact is for example, a miner how much lp do you get for mining and melting ore?
i mean its kind of a slave work since you are unable to gain any significant lp at all in that profession but is still needed by most
villages with a mine.

yea, authority drain is pretty wearisome so far. mining and smelting are not nearly rewarding enough to counter it, and thats ignoring all the other tasks that receive no LP at all

I just don't understand this whining. I did 50k solo before Loftar updates, and did 120k after. What the problem then?

And the bullshit postwhore trolls of jackoff to most each and every comment made by each and every player on each and every thread..i mean Jackard, don't forget that assurity as well. But it DID pay off right...here's to the unforseen benefits of postwhoring lol

back to the "tears"...after being on for hours, I've been informed for every single village in my grid area, it's hopeless for them. They've all worked so hard. Making our grid allies, building their villages, setting up roads and trade routes, not one of them will be here in a week. People working, spring break, school, the occasional night when they can't spend hours on the game (I don't know maybe they're dad dies or something)..such is life except one can't exist if you wish to play H&H in the mind of Loftar...oh you can join his Sodom clique or one of the other 2 or 3 villages in the game his groupies play in and be a slave in your corner...but the rest of the game..forget it. Jackard says every update brings tears...but never before in a game have I seen such a detrmined effort to implode the damn thing as I have witnessed here. So sure, having to go out and get/learn some macro cheat and figure out how to use it just to keep my village is rediculous and worth every once of rage i've seen regarding it...and not all just from me Jackard.

Oh calm down aslong as you have like 3 people playing a little bit each night it is really not a big deal. Unless for some reason you want to run a village all by yourself its really not that difficult to keep up.

Humm, let's see, I've listened to everyone in-game, as they watch their authority fall despite grinding. Calcualting how long they have left. No I don't really see any over-reaction from anyone who has commented on the horrible situation. Perhaps yuou can explain why you feel it is an over-reaction, what points are untrue, or what inevitability do you see changing or the impending results you see as inaccurate.

Umm, 6 posts and week under your belt. You have a village? Have deep insight to the work involved that will be lost now by 90% of the players. Just curious as tot he experience of your advice and judgement of the situation.

the real issue here, rhiannon, is your rant about authority.

were these discussions you had with other people today, after the change loftar made? how much LP do you usually rack up in a play session? what do you think is an average amount of LP for an average player's average session? how much int and charisma do you and the people you talked to have? how many people are in your village and the other villages you know of?

it's all well and good to think that changes need to be made but you seriously need to chill out.

I'm not finding it all that bad after the change now. I think one of the problems now is people didn't expect it and they obviously have to grind up a bit to get a safety buffer. But if from now on, a new village is built, the founding fathers know they'll have to do a bit of grinding / village work. Everything they do will benefit the village from the start, so it'll be less of a problem.

The entering / leaving village message is super-cool too but some kind of delay on it might be nice mabbe... Doing some work which requires chipping a stone inside the village, to pave outside of the village is giving me all sorts of message spam. Then again, it is an incentive to extend the claim and the message is really quite cool.

yes, 15k base lp which = 54k 360% lp if I was to try to handle a day alone if my villagers don't come on is rediculous. Since they made the game to where trusting people is like sticking a knife in your throat, Small villages ARE the safest way to be. So a 5 man village where some of them do not log on everyday is a total macro grind..and I hate being forced to cheat or use a macro and I'm damn sure not going to recruit forum noobs to steal everything and quit a week later. And there are many times when people are socializing or doing things of a non-lp nature. All the villages I know on my grid are less than 5-8 people including my own which is 5. People in a sandbox WANT to design their own stuff and build and play. NOT have to slave in some one else's village and now macro slave in their own just to keep it. INT without cheese is hard to get because even if you did do the shitty fishing system the chance of catching INT fish is not great, especially enough to make a diff. Changing the game to where everyone has to be 5 villages or spend all day macroing is crap. And I won't "Chill out" about having to macro all night, every night, to save my village or bring in a bunch of clutter noobs. It's a horrible update an a horrible system that has taken the fun and work of every single player I've spoken to in RL and in-game today away. So yeah it pisses me off and Im not the kind to get all demure and pretend it doesn't. I think it's a horrible situation and from I've seen and heard today, it pretty much ends the game for most of the people I know who have NO desire to be a slave in your town or one of the other few towns that will be left. All casual players are pretty much given that choice now...slave, macro all night...or quit and go play UO (lol) or something else because ya not welcome
here.

I mean hell, after weeks I finally got us a tin and copper mine so we can at least have bronze, and this comes along. Now instead of playing, it's go and watch tv while you macro (cause mining gets you nothing lp wise) and trying to keep your village up as 99% of your game time. Sorry but no fun in it that I can see.
