I've missed you.

You should take your meds......

Looking at her posts the longest she's been away is like 8 days?

In early January she seemingly disappeared. I assumed she had left like so many others. I'd actually missed her last post in February though, so that one is my fault.

painhertz wrote:Question btw: When Haven deving originally started was there a 1+ year ramp up on coding before players got to tinker with it like this time

We went through about one year of development before we made a homepage where it was possible to register, and then it took about 9 more months before anyone found it. :)

And even then, lots of fairly fundamental mechanics were still missing; like the ability to destroy things, which lead to such practices as drying-frame fencing. When we put up the home page, there wasn't even a combat system yet.

painhertz wrote:or were they more involved from the start like we were in Salem?

If you recall, it took about a year of development before we started alpha testing.

Nothing new there. There's a large part of me that likes this phase of development the most. ^^

just a small request, can you do another sneak preview? maybe showcase fighting a bit more? and some new things that we added! im sure everyone would agree that it would be a good v-day gift ;)

To be honest, making these videos takes quite a bit of time. The one in this thread took most part of an entire dev-night, so I'd rather do them sparingly.
