Besides the curiosity system isnt that bad. I find myself raiding ant hills whenever i get the chance to. Something i have never done in world 4. Found an ant empress, things went better then expected.

I actually don't mind the new world. Two days ago my walls were beseiged cause i was too eager to "borrow" things from people's claims. Destroyed all my shit and drowned myself so they wouldn't get one bit of reward from all their effort. I was expecting to never play again after that. But it turned out a server wipe was just around the corner.

boar tusks and bear teeth you can study...i cant study bear teeth yet though, 20 attention and it still needs more...also took a long time to kill him

was on my way to killing a deer, then server crash, came back up my deer and boat was gone oh and another server crash LOL not having much luck tonight

Why do so many people expect to get so much stuff on day one? On every world it took at least a week to get the basics, why should this world be any different? If you can get a backpack and flask by day two you are off to a good start, everything else is a bonus.
I also don't see why people are reminiscing about world 4. Within the first week there were already huge deforested areas, and noobs were getting massacred.
