right. but it seems quite misleading to me, since the interviewer had put questions regarding "griefing" and "wanton chaos"(not quite sure what wanton chaos is exactly though) together with that line.
also, when people complain or give doubts on perma-death or open pvp, they tend to refer to physical strength than fitness.
i read this article and replies and that, i think, represent a pretty general mind-set or tendency of ppl who have not played perma-death games. (or have played but gave up too soon after getting killed.)

Anarchy, Nihilism, etc. Do what you will despite, or total lack of, any possible consequences.

Just to note: Anyone see the post about 3/4 of the way down inviting J&L to Salem for a LARP event?

Well there's no doubt about that but at least the change is slow so you have time to prepare yourself. With so much publicity for Salem it's going to be madness when it releases. If people thought there were a lot of griefers and trolls now... :roll:

we never know how itll turn into. it is mostly up to how the game will be when it is released to the public.
have you noticed the very recent population re-growth? they are probably coming from those salem articles.

sounds very much like the current haven status to some people :P

and yeah, i saw that post too. i wonder if paradox wants them to join that event for mass apeal or rather want them to spend their time on developing further by the time the next halloween comes.

Im sure it will start like this : Day 1 of release...

Thousands of people spawn ,, (The HnH Players stick together)
The russians already have the high resources after 2 hours
New people that have never played HnH are Confused,, play for a month , die, and quit, and leave behind Ruins
Thousands of new people quit, the world gets reset because all thats left are a few noobs, and the HnH community =]

Even ignoring everything else I guarantee you this is an erroneous view. Even in HnH we don't stick together, we very clearly tear one another apart. Alliances change on circumstance. If anything, given that many of us have history with one another, we'll be tearing into each other more than anyone else.
