That means that the older player will be using high Q "ant empresses" and the newer will be using lower Q or similar Q (due to the "soft cap" Quality is going to him because of this system)

You are not taking into account human fallibility.

No, I'm not really, but I'm thinking that active players know they way around the game and don't fail so often. And human fallibility goes for the newer player too.

you're also not taking into account rarity. sure, ant empresses are great, but how many have you gotten, out of how many anthills raided?

Doesn't matter. You said one person has more time to play than the other, so one of them won't be switching their curio's as often as the other, and the best LP gain per time studied curiosities are short ones.

Well I'm not sure, has this been confirmed? Is it really the short ones that gain best LP/min?

True, but let's say the drop rate is about 5%. That means if both players (they are quite active) are raiding large numbers of ant hills per day they would eventually have the same percent success of getting an empress.

I'm sure the dev's have gotten a ton of flak, so what's a little more? Well this isn't "flak" per se, more of an observation...
before I start. No I don't spend 8 hours of my day reading previous posts, so I therefor may possibly be covering something that has already been covered. then this post can serve to show that more than (#) of people feel the same way.

The specific treatment of your players is somewhat off-cast and disrespectful. I'm no Math-magician or Statistic-eer, but it seems like you lost a bunch of players from the usa. I know for a fact my entire Minecraft(yes another game) clan had been hooked on this game for a while during world 4. We were late comers but we were having a blast. The issues you describe as "bad" weren't really a concern for most people. Since the communism declaration and outright disregard for people's negative feedback, every single one of my friends left. I saw generally about 250-ish Americans on at any random time. our group alone took 20 of those away. I know this is a small game and small community, but this game has the potential to make you very rich, sir. What I've seen in my years of indie game following is good games die horrible deaths when their developers act like "big shots" in their own game. it's not that simple fact alone, mind you, it's the fact that you narrow your own vision and forget to remove yourself from the scene and see the game from "god's view." seeing the posts you've left so far I'm incredibly certain this isn't going to change your mind, this isn't going to make you happy, or is this going to make some of your good friends happy.

Keep some things in mind if you plan to make money.
Americans always have cash, we pay for games 500x more often than the rest of the world will, when we don't have to.
Most Americans have stigmatized views communism. No I don't personally, I think this game is a great environment for it, Just don't say so and post big pics of Lenin and scare off all your rich, addicted american future customers.
Americans rule the worlds blogs, we're everywhere and we tweet, facebook, blab, chat in other games and at school about everything. we have big mouths, and a sure-fire way to kill a game is to kill your richest community.
Now I'm not saying the rest of the world won't make you rich, sure they will, But look at Notch (Markus Persson - Minecraft). he's Swedish. but he was smart. He never bad-mouthed his community, he never belittled people or tainted his game with political ideologies. And now he's banking millions-a-month. Nearly all of his latest customers are American. Nearly all his non-payed customers are not.

If you want to make this game modeled after a communistic society. then do so.... just DO NOT SAY SO. let people interpret it for what it is. Let americans think it's "tribal, or small village" let others think it's communism. don't LABEL it. you can flame me all you want, I expect I have TONS of things that can be contradicted... who doesn't really? ever? so go ahead. But if you feel the same, let this developer know, so he can make changes for his own benefit as well as ours. I love this game, I think it's great, and I'd like to see it get bigger, and I'm even willing to pay for it.... but not if all my friends are scared off and I'm left alone because you personally insulted them with your personal posts.

Yeah they have Salem in mind. Haven and Hearth is their dildo and sometimes they like to fuck the players with it. Enjoy!

Sometimes, some people just make me want to apologize for my entire country.
