Well the lag is less strenuous at this current state but we should see how long it lasts.

I find that it is a little better .... the harddrive problem was maybe just adding a bit of the lag like some one mentioned

You're probably just lucky atm. :)

However, once the minimaps regenerate properly, I do have an experiment to run which might help with the lag.
