There already is a game like that, it's called farmville.
Early world exploit: Put your hearthfire inside a cave, then hold shift to position a claim right in front of a cave. After 8 hours the claim will be unbreakable. Since your hearthfire is inside the cave, you can still get back inside, and leave, but nobody will be able to enter, effectively making you unraidable for the first 3-7 days. Enjoy

Everyone is patting jorbtar on the back, and I don't want to get left out.
But it is not like jorbtar will even notice my post.
They simply get the overall impression that they are cool.

can't wait, woo who

Please make only one client to use. No open source or anything so its impossible or atleast lots harder to do anykind of custom client. That solves everything.

With no safe zones + permadeath, experience for someone new can be very harsh.

Wat? Newb unfriendliness is the core of this community and game, we won't break the tradition will we? O.o

haven and hearth has always been noob friendly.. getting slayed buy savage survivors is all part of the learning curve, but in all honesty if u research and play carefully it is very easy to stay safe and hermit.
