No, it isn't, but you should be used to it by now. Respectfully, I think you should quit yer bitchin'. This is necessary. It's not even a beta yet; it's part of the process of making a game. Playability. Don't be an asshole, please. This isn't the place.

I used to handplow one tile at a time whenever it was necessary (you know, sometimes they happen in fields, once in a while). It was convenient, since there really aren't any trees to cut down around here. There's some sort of village nearby, but they have really high q trees I don't wanna get killed for chopping down. So you see my dilemma... Nothing to repair/build the plow with. I had to steal a little wood to finish my beehives... >< I apologize, but it appeared they had plenty of wood on their land, and herb tables to make more. That's the extent of my interaction on this character I'm having trouble with.

i see what you mean by the handplowing, i just started to plow, would have ended up with 20% endurance left if it had finished, but it just stopped and did'nt finish plowing but it used up the energy. dont see why they cant just make it the same as digging, where it says you are to tired to dig... not using the energy up then failing... thats just stupid

Yes, it would be nice if perhaps there were something to prevent you from attempting something you wouldn't be able to finish. Or if not that, taking away whatever makes it so that it drains before you accomplish something. We don't need that for everything, though. Like destroying things. They stay at a state of being destroyed. With plowing, it's all-or-nothing. :\

ok maybe the amount that the wood plow needs to be repaired is a little high but honestly you shouldn't have a problem getting wood. plant more trees if your wood supply is scarce.

I can't. I don't have the resources. No water around to get clay to make pots. I don't have a kiln (again, no clay [yet]). No wood to burn for it, once I do get one. But I don't think they'd mind me stealing branches; that doesn't damage the trees. But even then, I don't have the wood to build a table to start them on.
I'm sure I'm not alone...

I think I'm going to move, though I'm not sure where to yet. Somewhere there's water. Gonna look for trees.
Now that all the animals are docile (awesome bug) I don't think travelling will be as much an issue. I don't have any armor, and I have no constitution to speak of. Only perception and charisma are high, since all I eat are carrots and grapes. Because that's all I have. I don't hunt, really, except for bunnies; I don't have the string for a bow, nor the metal for a sword. Bears are out of the question right now. I made little safe-boxes for myself when a fox was a'prowl, before.

I'm just a casual player of this game. I think it's got a nice idea and I wanted to follow it and see where it went. I don't think I'm necessarily gonna completely leave over the "fix" but I might have to make some pain in the ass changes to my character that I didn't want.
And this is a game where you shouldn't have to do that. You should be able to do whatever you want that will keep you alive (to whatever extent makes it 'fun' for the player).

The sad part is that i plow by hand while
everyone else cries for a steel plow. After
you're at 0% stamina you don't lose stamina
anymore, just keep plowing, it may take
me 2 hours to do a job you do it 10 minutes,
but i don't need anything to do my job and
i can easily do it again whereas most will
throw their hands up without a plow.

I'm guessing the 0% stamina and unlimited
plowing is a bug now that i think of it?...

They got rid of that. You have to have 30% stamina to touch the ground.
If you want to live, you can't hand-plow anymore. That's what I'm all pissed off about.
Might wanna read a bit back in this, Nao. :D They didn't log it, but they did it, and people started talkin'.

There is fishing, there are apple trees, there are bunnies, there are mulberry trees. If you don't have an apple tree, did you consider finding one?

Krhm... I just spent 30 minutes fishing and caught about four fish (salmon). Eating them all didn't even get my hunger bar from "very hungry" to "hungry".
