Thanks for horrible update.

So, let me get this right.
1.) You find it unrealistic that you're actually able to stockpile food through hunting?
2.) You miss having to grind for food 6 hours a day, but are not a munchkin?

Interesting...

I agree that x10 is too much, x5 sounds good. I also like the idea of replacing the day/night beliefs.

But fuck everyone who wants it back the way it was. Seriously. With a huge rubber wang.

No, I`m not a munchkin. I don`t do looms, bandages or any other stuff to level up faster than usual gameplay allowes.
You obviously don`t get it. I got most of my LP through hunting. Now that hunting is not needed, I won`t be able to gain any skills in the same amount of time, unless I use some cheat or trick. I used to do long-range walks doing cartography stuff, but it`s not viable anymore also, because of boars. Those hours I spent in game were actually filled with many things I found interesting. To get what I got earlier through interesting gameplay, now I need to grind.

Full Shrew would set your hunger decay to the old rate, but halve (or more) the varied diet bonus. Some of us WANT to eat more, and some people can't be bothered. Give us the option of playing Eating Things Online.

This. I absolutely love this idea.

Almost everyone would get the shrew slider to raise the stats, rendering the slider useless. And there's almost no malus in the shrew slider, by the way, since the varied diet bonus can be outputted with a couple of foods.

True, but I'm willing to bet that aside from the nature/industry duality, probably 90% of the players have the same slider settings anyways

90% of respondents to the third and most recent census selected full nature. Virtually everyone selected Peaceful instead of Martial, which makes sense, because the LP bonus allows you to do more damage despite the combat penalty. Finally, Barbarian was far more popular that Civilization. All the other settings where, for the most part, kept at neutral.

Ah, beat by Jackard. Unfortunately, Google docs won't let you change data on a summary, but I do have all the raw data safe from before the vandalism.

PS, if I ever meet you, JTG, there will be words.
Surprise.
