I hope that tidiness is gone for good. Aside from being overpowered, it was also a rather inconvenient mechanic. Usually a single person had to run around and set everyone's tables, while most would be afraid to touch their table to avoid ruining the tidiness. With tidiness gone, it will be much easier for the average diner to switch out symbel items as they wear out or he gets hold of better ones.

I'd rather see the hunger reduction buffed across the board, especially for low fep bonus items. Many of the symbel items are pretty close to useless, even at 100+ quality. It would be interesting if you had to decide if you wanted maximum fep bonus or max hunger reduction, and pick which symbel items you use based on that. With tidiness gone you could swap between different setting easily, i.e. max fep for hard to make foods, max hunger for food you can make in abundance.

Symbel is still better than just eating. It just got a very necessary nerf. You will get used to it and still invest your gold, silver and silk into it, because even a 70% FEP bonus is a bonus worth it. The stat raise with old symbels was completely ridiculous, maybe you can't see that because you lose something with the change, but that is what it was. Cities like ours had no problems building palisade or brickbreaker with those tables, the soak of walls is meant to not let a single person break them though.

Lets see it other side... 700 cooking and 1200psy gives 100% on table, right ?
What % will recive person with 200 cooking and 200psy as avarage long playing person who play in small group ? Right... not worth it...
I think Tideness bonus was needed, just 2 times smaller.
Such changes was needed to be done at world start.

I fail to see how this is the case. Small groups are still at a disadvantage to big towns and newer characters are hit harder by this than old ones. So people like Klaue and Nao will never be able to break brickwall on their own or pulling 800 perception out of their ass now. That means towns are even safer than before, not the other way around. You are twisting reality here, because it is in your own interest (and the interest of those 68 players). As a member of Sodom I loved my table too, just letting me push stats to 4 figures without much effort, this is not how it is meant to be though.

AD sold 12 FEP tables... to small settlements, for bricks, linen, iron and other simple stuff, not just pepper, so they could reach some lvl when they will make some other strong faction in economical and military way. Last one sold yesterday for wrought and few pieces of cheese. I don't count sold for pepper because there not much. We didn't keeped achievements just for ourself.
Exeption was done for thanes... after we caught person who killed 4 small villages and we found our thanes on him...
There must be such artifacts which will controll only biggest and strongest factions. Because its goal of such game, to controll best resourses and became strongest in world.

That is just a fact high lvl chars have to deal with now. New players have been put at a serious disadvantage with the nerf of tables (and I can't strees that enough, new chars will never be able to catch up wit you or me now!!) so it is only fair that good chars have more to loose as well.

Everything stands on the fact that big citys sell hq stuff to smaller ones, other way they will need too much time to get to something. In game must be targets for community achive. Such targets is verry hard to reach, needs a lot of labour of a lot of people, they give interest for play. If there will be no such targets, or reaching them will have no sense, then all this will end up as - reach some lvl, get some people, go and kill everybody...

Also I like golden roads or a yellow brick road. This might not have been a necessary update, but people love to decorate and show off their wealth, so it sure is a nice one. I don't get how one could possibly complain about the option to build more stuff.

Colour bricks will cost your eyes... I feel how eyes got tired more with that yellow and red stuff... In AD we will use only black and white ones.
We don't show wealth, because it will not help against sword...

I can't make heads or tail of your reason why tidiness removal is bad.

The updates, cool. I'll live with em, and I can't fuss. The only thing I ask is if ya'll are going to update the screen sizing? Like Gilbertus or Pacho, I could just click the maximize (windows default) button on the top right, full screen YAY! The option that is embedded into the default client doesn't work for me. As I've read on the forums before, a lot of people have trouble with this (default full screen button on default client). I'd just like the screen size, I'll go w/out night vision or xray vision lol.

Also:
Last night I logged out wearing a straw hat, and logged in wearing a chefs hat. Anyone explain that for me? Prolly a latent character save before logging and updating, but I didn't know. It wasn't a super highq straw hat, so I'm not stressin over it, just curious.
You have to learn the rules of the game. And then you have to play better than anyone else.

Sry jorb but my opinion about the new brick tiles is that they looks like shit :V, there are half sawn bricks , the color just looks to bad with a little grey dot in one of the bricks. Also they look waaaaaay off the tile.

Now gimme info on how to edit tiles :x

I agree, red brick pavement could stand to be a bit more pastel. Dunno about others, haven't tried those yet.
