Please, that doesn't even look H&H, besides, everyone knows that Jorb would never implement a stone castle.

Although, I do think i prefer those graphics, they would look pretty nice in the H&H world. Maybe Bears would actually look scary, instead of like 4 legged teddy bears.

The geometric average of two numbers is the square root of the product of the numbers*, so it has the nice property of gravitating towards to least of the numbers. In other words, if you have 10 Charisma and 90 Intelligence, their geometric average is 30, but if you have 40 in each, their geometric average is 40.

The LP you earn is multiplied by that average and divided by 10**. Thus, denoting your character's Intelligence as I and Charisma as C, the authority gained by any action giving you L learning points (again, before the learning bonus is accounted for), gives your village L · √(I·C) / 10 points of authority. In other words, a completely new character with 10 in both Intelligence and Charisma and 100% learning bonus will be gaining exactly as much authority as he gains learning points.

I should find a LaTeX plugin for this forum.

* More generally, the geometric average of the any set X of numbers is (∏ (xX) x)^(1/|X|). It may be more helpful to describe it as the arithmetical average (i.e. what you'd normally think of as "average") of the numbers in X as projected onto a logarithmic scale; that is, e^((1/|X|)·∑ (xX) ln x).
