You're probably right.

I'm probably venting at the wrong person. If I am, please accept my apologies, random guy I don't really know on the Internet. However, if you are the author and creator of the wiki, you should really think about what I said. Getting a bunch of wrong information out there to start will most likely just get a wiki ignored by everyone when it comes time to matter. You might not be getting paid for it, but hobbies that have good work skills make for great additions to resumes/CVs.

I wasn't going to dig anything up because I felt it was a safe assumption that the map was going to be much like the HnH map and easily (relatively) expandable. Thus, size probably won't matter. It'll just be a matter of how crowded things get and how many concurrent connections the server can handle.
Opinions expressed in this statement are the authors alone and in no way reflect on the game development values of the actual developers.

"it fails" "they had stated" "just went with that"

Maybe I somehow made one think that I was in some way affiliated with the wiki by also stating that it sucks and by referring to it as a third person entity run by a third party I am not connected with. How I managed to give that illusion is beyond my understanding.

Are the developers aiming at a lower age range for this game ?

Weve seen it on the forums before, kids raging about getting pwned, if this game is aimed at lower ages will it soften up compared to H&H.
Now i dont agree with pointless killing but survival is one of the main things that i love about H&H, i hope it doesnt change when you release Salem.

Also will this have an option to play it for free or do we need to pay to play ?

If it makes you happy, rest assured that surviving in Salem is harder than in Haven.

Ok, once more for those that are reading comprehension impaired. Salem is HARDER to survive in than Haven. Capiche?

Thank goodness for that! I go away for a couple of days, come back in need of a laugh and you've gone all 'nice and helpful' on me - last few posts positively welcoming - but here we are back to the normal 'painhertz' style,

It's free to play with a special city for trade with silver. Silver can be earned by selling certain goods to Boston or by paying real money. You can survive, grow, and thrive entirely without paying a dime.

so its like, you can pay to get an quicker advantage, but the non paying people can still get everything that the donators get, they just have to work for it ?

if there going to make a profit from salem this isnt a bad way to do it

The advantage is generally something small that you need to move forward once you have certain skills. Not going to drop an example but if you were to join the game, drop 500 dollars, and expect to instantly be a top player/village you're sorely mistaken. If that same player did so once they were developed a bit and had learned the appropriate skills to utilize their purchases, then their purchases would at least be useful.

In the end, I think it's fair to say that those who put in 20 bucks will be more competitive but will not trump players who don't pay.
