Rhianon must have 200 int already if she can't keep up grinding for curiosities. You've all been getting this all wrong. She's actually extremely intelligent.

My village manages to get by without anyone begging.

Well of course it does sweetie...let me repeat. Indeed a great system for both those who like being "master" and those who are ok with being "slave". "Begging" is always defined by the perspectives of the "asker" and the "giver"...lol

People don't ask me for curios, I just leave them in the appropriate cupboard. Well, I sometimes designate some higher end ones for our claim holder specifically, she needs a lot of LP to expand our claim.

Rhiannon is living in her own, completely schizoid world filled with paranoia. Don't bother.

Her other villagers are the voices in her head. No matter how much she begs them they don't give her any curiosities.

True, kinda hard to find fish now, seems I have to live on blueberries and chantrelles for a while. :D But lucky me I find a lot more rabbits than I did last world.

It's ok sweetie, don't rush it...one day, when you're all growed up you "get it".

Nah, I don't expect her to hear anything I say, I'm just using an opportunity to brag about having a good group :D

This whole sleeping thing gets in the way of my forum replying.

You flatter yourself.

Your home country has no effect on your intelligence. You're piss-brain stupid from your own effort (or non-doing). :)

No need to embarrass us Americans. You do not speak for us.

Have a wonderful day.

I haven't seen 4-500 different posters all complaining about this new world and it's changes. I don't think I've seen more than about 50 or so different people- if that- posting in this specific thread that are hating this game. It's always the complainers that get the biggest attention.

The Vocal Minority.

Grable wrote:And wait again for the animal husbandry+yeomanry LP? gg
If someone goes straight for yeomanry theyll be left with no other skills and empty LP and pretty much nothing to do.

I got Yeomanry (and a lot of my basic skills) within a couple few hours of play... and that's with me not knowing how to use curiosities until the second or third hour.

Blackomen wrote:Only reason I'd want that is so I could host a "proper" server that isn't being run on a home pc with basic dsl. Which I assume it actually is from it's current performance ranging from bad to abysmal. (Could also be horrible netcode, havn't seen pre-W4 stability.) But also so the server could be capped at around say 300-400. Currently (And I never would have said this during early W4.) it actually feels crowded.

You've been playing all of 4 days. Your knowledge of things is VERY limited. Go check out some old announcement threads if you want info on how the game is hosted.

Also, here's a spoiler.

Butko wrote:So what this new system solved?
There will be bots for chipping stones from boulders to get cat's gold.
There will be bots for digging acre clay and to make chariot toys.
There will be bots...
Bots are not gone. Just the way to bot has changed.

Cat's gold is horribly inefficient as it has such a long study time (and the fact you can only use one at a time). Why would someone have bots stockpiling them? Chariots are similar in the fact it's inefficient to stockpile them (though I recognize they give a bit more LP). Still, there's no real reason to have bots do this work. So, yes, I assume bots are used by people who can't dig five clay out of the ground every 24 real hours. :P
