That would make claims a convenient way to test for the presence of such objects, however.

What if the secret structure was bound to an owner? This would eliminate scents forming as we entered such place and instantly revealing we are here. It would still allow people to find it a Jorb described and break in but allow secrecy to remain without a claim revealing it. That might be more workable I think. It certainly fits the true Hermit mindset of this is mine regardless of your claim. The only limitation I would set is you cant build one on an existing claim. It would only protect you from being claimed over.

You shouldn't connect "investigation" with "guilt", though.

@Granger And exactly how does this adjusted suggestion make claims able to detect a secret home? I clearly suggested if it gets claimed over a home bound to the character would not leave scent entering and exiting. This removes the claim as a detector yet preserves the home as a secret place unless actually detected.

Please explain.

We are -- though no one involved is looking forward to it -- going to retouch the entire webpage, believe it or not. :P

As much as it could be a pain, at least a newer shiny look even if its just a little bit. Would change how people view the site, hopefully for the better.

Eight-ish years later, or whatever it is now, it is beginning to feel at least somewhat necessary. :)

That would be nice. I don't ever go on the forums on the computer, since I'm probably playing Haven or some other game if I can be bothered to boot it up.
