Loftar has poked around with the map generator, which runs at a specific time, and that is most likely why the thing has consistently gone kapoof at a specific time, if indeed it has.

Oh by that I just meant you'd have to infect a network of computers, and I really couldn't see anyone doing that. I agree that it seems to be a bug, and definitely a tricky one, or else it'd have been ironed out the first time. I really want to get online and plant more trees :3

Why don't you go take a look at the 8 million+ files that were previously stored as files and not in a database. If loftar fixes something it is because it needs to be fixed.
