Maybe I should chop down every tree and shop every log into blocks so wood will disappear and nobody will be able to make boards anymore?

P.S.: maybe I should write bot for that >:)

EXACTLY MY THOUGHTS AS WELL!

Unite! Deforest new world and kill all commies!!! Down with communism!!!

This should be impressive.

Go ahead and let them bot deforestation, it's not a big deal. 95% of your wood will be coming from claimed and walled tree farms anyway in a couple of days. The real shame is that there will be ugly bald spots but that's just aesthetics.

The real shame is that they think that accomplishes a point. Sad, sad day.

We'll never know if we don't try. As long as we don't give up, I think we can accomplish anything.

Besides, nothing we're doing goes against the game ideals. It's still a sandbox right? And all you guys are telling us to "enjoy the game instead of complaining about it" anyway, so sue us for finding something to do with what little LP we have.

Bunch of fucking five year olds, pissed that they don't enjoy the game so they'll just ruin it for everyone else. Y'all need to grow up.

You are arguing that the game can be botted and that there are potential advantages to doing so, something that I don't think anyone has ever denied. You are not refuting the central point I am trying to make, namely that botting an important aspect of the game is significantly less meaningful under the new system.

I never said that this system was bad because of boting (I already said what I disliked - it forces people to actively think about LPs and it's hitting casuals badly). I'm simply dismissing the fact that this system will make boting any less effective (which some people tend to think).

Your point is that boting is less meaningful because people won't benefit as much as they did. I don't agree. Bots don't provide LPs, they provide time. Did your system effectively cap one's LP gains because you can only study so much ? If not, they'll still gain an advantage. If yes, then bots will be used to provide massive amounts of food and trade ressources to buy more food. And then boters will abuse FEPs. Do you plan to cap FEPs ? Then they will still be used to multiply the amount of endgame ressources such as gold/silver/steel through massive mining and will get better equipment. Do you have a plan against this ? Then they'll just serialize warcharacter production, and won't care anymore about dieing, effectively flooding their enemies even if they get 1:3 kill/death ratios.

In a game where time is the main ressource, there's only so much you can do against boting.

I'm not even full nature yet but I got over 1k lp from a ladybug. To find one though you need to get out of your cabin and look around. There are plenty of things to do with your time. You need only exploration 2 to see blueberries, I got a itsy bitsy spider from one when I was out foraging, don't know yet how much lp I will gain but I bet it will be a lot. And to get your exp up to 2 you only need 300 lp, that is easy to get.

I am not saying I am fully happy with the new system but it is possible to do something else with your time than deforestation and sitting around doing nothing. Whining about the system without actually trying it out is not the answer, like I said before the system won't be changed because you keep bitching about it.
