Well the sling change is a load of shit.. So a q300+ sling is same as q10. Why? We should have a choice of what weapon we want to use.. And the Agi changes are shit!

So, what can be build in mines now?

Can we get some screenshot of the awesome dwarf villages that are forming?

Take a moment to think what that actually means. No sense of progression, ever.

Lolwut? You still get to raise your agi, and it still matters a lot for PvP. It's just that you have to make tough choices instead of having an obvious best choice.

This argument has nothing to do with having the ability to eat more agi food.

Yes, if it keeps them alive.

Any of our larpy friends who tried ranging in Ranger's cape instead of dhelm will gladly tell you how much joy "equipment diversity" brought to them when they got a barrage of arrows in their face.

Agi debuff will do nothing to encourage more diverse selection of gear, everyone will still want to have that extra layer of steel to keep their hide safe.

With the possible exception of Nao and our roleplayingly challenged friends.

There is a damn good reason why RPG's avoid % based buffs and debuffs that scale as you level.

It didn't yell at me when I tried to build an idol in a cave, but I never finished & activated it.

The demise of your ranger cape friends was due to utter brokenness of ranger bows, which should be better now. And I don't think everyone would go for steel if agi debuff actually mattered, cooldowns are a huge deal, if you have two fighters with equal combat skills but one has 5% faster cooldown he'll beat the crap out of the slower one.

Oh, and since when do RPGs avoid scaling stuff with level? That's news to me, but then again I haven't played them much since Black Isle went down.

What does the village Idol cd mean?

If I build a idol in public, can anyone active it and become village chieftain?

Oh, even if the second one has deflect of 1200 and the other is naked? And the decrease in ranger bow damage sure wont help the fellow who is naked (or wearing leather armor).

Mainly because it breaks the feeling of becoming more powerful. I'm full barbarism, when I feast INT I actually lose it due to the % based debuff.

wow there are so cool! People will finally start using mines inside caves. The sling is a pain but understandable, it was said before - it is a person's skill with a sling not the sling Q that affects its damage and even then you can only do so much with a stone unless you hit an animal just right. Agility is going to become even more important and thank the server that the brick wall posts can now be sealed !!!

I like the building cool downs and that brick walls can't be punched to death. The Ram changes are also a pain (for me) but they were needed.

All in all great updates!

But is it just me that thinks its silly that one person can go out and kill all the meat needed for a village? There should be hunting parties with a few good Bowers, maybe a couple of people with slings that draw the animals over to the main group and other people who are there to chop up and carry the meat, guts and bones back. To me that is far more fun then just *shoot* dead *shoot* *shoot* dead. As for the fact that hunting can now not be used for LP grinding GOOD! This game should never be about grinding your stats up to insane levels by doing easy and boring actions but by the whining that is going on here I seem to be one of the few people who is playing this game to have fun rather then to just flash a number at some one in the age old game of 'mines bigger then yours'.

One way to make bow hunting less of a hassle is to change it so arrow quality only affects damage, not aiming speed. Then crafting low quality arrows in the filed would be viable for hunting, while the top quality bone arrows would come out for PvP.
