Wow, the more I look at that screenshot the more neat little things I see. Seeing the classic 2d sprites redone in 3D is neat.

This is one of the main reasons I like haven more....

All i want is my kin list not to be gone when i die. Dying is 'OK' you can get over it , but seeing that you just lost all your friends - sucks.

That's the whole point of permadeath. Since stats are so grindable, losing all your kins and permissions should be the bad part.

Stats/items/permissions are not comparable to the human network of fellow players though. You can take away the former with death but nothing in the current game can take away the latter, so why even bother with deleting the kin list? It's just arbitrary paperwork to fill out following reincarnation. Fellow players don't give a shit you died, they want you back playing with them even if you're level 0 again.

Like, maybe in some hypothetical nonexistent hard-RP playerbase of Haven if you died and came back you'd need to earn trust again or something, but that is not the world of haven as it exists.

This is one of the reasons I stopped playing, by the time we had flattened space for the whole village nearly all players had enough and stopped playing... :( cum bak Ladyguu
