Well, I'll admit that thinking about it now, at least, I see a number of issues. For one thing, I see that it incentivizes villages to claim their land with both a vclaim and a pclaim just to get the notifications, which is certainly ugly. I can also see that there may be something, at least, to be said for stealth, though I'm less sure exactly what. I guess I'll have to think about it a little bit.

If you can recall, do you still have the same intentions with character development as you did in 2011? Something about making the world more "magic" and moving in a direction that leads to less spreadsheets and numbers and more lore.

That's certainly the ambition, at least. Time will have to tell how well we actually succeed with it. :)

Really? I don't want a Domovoi ..... :(
So does that also mean you are planning on going down the Salem route with witchcraft and all that type of thing?

Pls don't ever shut off Haven as it is now - I'll pay you to keep it going .... :D .... how much does it cost to run it? Lol.

+1 , I love the game like it is, I wish the best for Hafen but it has never been a players request, we loves the game we play now.

Well, clearly none of you know what's good for you, so it's a good thing we're in charge. ¦]

What a sad feeling it shall be for you to create a game only played by peoples who don't have a clue of what a good game is

Neither was the current Haven.

Yeah, but the point of Amanda was not about creating Hafen, but about removing Haven and Hearth, both good games for sure.
If they made an improved "3D" Mincraft, I surly would love to have the possibility of playng the original one, just not the same feeling, not better or worst.

I'd like to say that the lack of off-line raiding has been one of my favorite parts about Haven thus far. There's lots of survival games out there that are shit in the end because of off-line raiding. Waiting for glue to dry before you can knock down a brick wall isn't a perfect mechanic, but it's a definite step in the right direction gameplay wise.
