Granger wrote:If i may ask: what FS are you using, with what mountflags and through what kind of abstraction layers (MD and what level, LVM, etc?) ?

I'm using XFS, as it usually performs well for me; no mountflags outside the default. The Hetzner server came with MD preconfigured, but I turned it off in order to be able to format the other disk with XFS instead of ext3 (I need directories with >32000 subdirectories, and ext3 doesn't handle that, apparently).

Normally, I would have put the filesystem on LVM, but somehow I managed to forget that. I have no idea how that could have happened.

Granger wrote:And out of curiosity: why are you using BDB ?

It's a simple way of storing key/value-pairs, and it comes with support for atomic transactions and a few other nice features.

The server is up

There are 242 hearthlings playing.

Of these, there are 43 from Korea, 40 from United States, 31 from Russian Federation, 30 from Japan, and 18 from Australia.

LOL?

Same with me... preparing some food for aso's banquet.
